Marstair offer a range of air conditioning and refrigeration solutions for ATEX and flammable areas. For ATEX Zone 1 safe areas, the MCUA Zone 1 condenser operates in a 3-way split system with the Marstair MMC safe area compressor units and Marstair evaporators. For ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas, the Marstair MCU+ Zone 2 Condensing unit is a perfect solution. For air conditioning in hazardous environments, we offer the range of Zone 2 WM wall mounted evaporators.

- MCUA Zone 1 condenser. Features include wide voltage ranges, flexible refrigerant options including new low GWP R448 and R449, and large ambient temperature range -40°C to +55°C.
- The MMC safe area compressor units match with the MCUA Zone 1 condensers. Features include robust Emerson compressors, flexible refrigerant options including new low GWP R448 and R449, 3-phase no neutral electrics, and options for extreme low ambient conditions -40°C and extreme high ambient conditions +55°C.
- MCU+ Zone 2 condensing units for hazardous environments has all the options of the MCUA range with additional features including high correction protection 316 stainless steel casing, 3-phase no neutral electrics, IP65 rated fans and electrical enclosures, high wind support brackets, and optional Blygold or electro tinned coil coatings, options for extreme low ambient conditions -40°C and extreme high ambient conditions +55°C.
- The WM Zone 2 evaporators provide air conditioning in hazardous environments such as paint and flammable liquid storage facilities. Features include 50/60Hz, optional Blygold or electro tinned coil coating, and optional twin drain stub condensate tray.
